Job Description:

As a World Record Official Adjudicator at the World Talent Organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of world record verification and adjudication. You will be a vital part of our mission to promote excellence and celebrate human achievements worldwide.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct rigorous assessments and verifications of potential world record attempts.
Adjudicate record attempts at events and locations across the globe.
Work closely with record holders and participants to ensure accurate documentation.
Collaborate with experts, witnesses, and fellow adjudicators to validate records.
Uphold and enforce WTO World Records’ guidelines and standards.
Maintain meticulous records of all adjudications and documentation.
Serve as a knowledgeable representative of the World Talent Organization at events.
Provide guidance and support to individuals and organizations attempting world records.
Stay updated on current world record trends and accomplishments in various categories.

Education:

Minimum requirement: A college degree in a relevant field such as Event Management, Sports Management, or a related discipline.

Experience:

Previous experience in event management, sports management, or a related field would be beneficial.
Experience in adjudicating or overseeing record attempts is preferred but not mandatory.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with current world record trends and accomplishments in various categories.
Understanding of the principles and practices of adjudicating world records.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct rigorous assessments and verifications.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Knowledge of guidelines and standards related to world records, preferably experience with WTO World Records’.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with record holders, participants, witnesses, and fellow adjudicators.
Ability to represent the World Talent Organization professionally at events.
