Racecourse Ground, Wrexham, Wales, UK is the oldest international football stadium currently in use. At the Racecourse on 5 March 1877, when Scotland visited Wales, the first international match was played on. Wales lost the game 2-0 and did not win their first international until they defeated Ireland 7-1 in 1882. After England and Scotland Wales is the third-oldest international football team. Given the fact that Scotland has always played at ‘Hampden Park’ that has been at various locations.The England national football team first played on the cricket ground of Kennington Oval in 1883 at Bramall Lane before their first match on a football ground.
